Kezia is a Coordinator Program who is responsible for the social monitoring in six Marine Protected Areas at Papua Bird\u2019s Head Seascape. She holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in Biology from University of Papua (UNIPA) Indonesia in 2009. Before pursuing her master\u2019s program in Human Dimension of the Forestry Department at Michigan State University in 2016, Kezia works as an assistant lecturer in UNIPA since 2009 and as a project field coordinator, as well as a research assistant for collaborations between UNIPA, local governments, and non-governmental organizations (World Wildlife Fund, Conservation International, The Nature Conservancy-currently known as Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

  • Coordinator for Social Monitoring Program<\/strong>
    Science for Conservation Program, Research and Community Service Institute, University of Papua (January 2019 \u2013 Present)<\/em>
    Responsible to conduct the monitoring in Six Marine Protected Areas (Teluk Mayalibit, Kofiau-Boo Islands, Cenderawasih Bay National Park, South East Misool, Selat Dampier, Kaimana) in the Bird\u2019s Head Seascape Papua. Main tasks: developing questionnaires and relevant instruments for the survey, training field enumerators, assisting field works, delivering survey results through scientific seminars and disseminations, writing books and reports to project donors.<\/li>
  • Research and Field Project Coordinator for Social Monitoring in Community Forestry Program Papua<\/strong>
    WWF USA and WWF Indonesia (April 2021 \u2013 December 2021)<\/em>
    Responsible to conduct the monitoring in Seven Community Forestry Program areas in Papua (West Papua and Papua Provinces). Main tasks: developing questionnaires, training field enumerators, assisting field survey, managing database (use the Kobo ToolBox), writing the report to WWF.<\/li>

    Responsible for Solving the Mystery of MPA Performance: Linking Knowledge with Action in the Bird\u2019s Head Seascape Project. Main tasks: training field enumerators, preparing documents and field logistics, assisting field teams (Six MPAs), managing database (use MO.
